Asst. Swimming Coach

Job Summary

This position will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including but not limited to coaching at training sessions, scouting opponents, recruiting, meet day administration, and academic monitoring of student athletes. Responsible for assisting in the coordination of the management of the Aquatics facilities.

Required for this position:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2-3 years coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
• Understanding of budget issues and funds management.
• Thorough knowledge of NCAA rules.
• Extensive knowledge of swimming.
• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with personal computer applications.
• Certifications relative to Aquatic facility management such as: American Red Cross, First aid, CPR. Certified Pool Operator preferred.
