Job Summary
The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for planning, implementing, and engaging in a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for 7-8 varsity intercollegiate athletic programs. This position will work closely with student athletes and instruct them in injury prevention and work with and modify training for injured athletes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in physical education, exercise physiology or other appropriate discipline
- 1 year of experience working on a campus in an athletic environment
- Knowledge of the guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student athletes
- NSCA-CSCS or CSCCA-SCCC and CPR/AED certification
- Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel (when required)
