Head Swim Coach

Job Summary

In collaboration with the Director of Athletics, the Head Coach will be charged with leading the Women’s and Men’s Swimming and Diving Teams and is expected to identify, evaluate and recruit high-achieving student athletes from geographically and demographically diverse populations.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and three years (5 years preferred) experience as a swim coach at the college level or alternatively, at the Olympic, professional or similar levels. Working knowledge of rules and regulations governing collegiate swimming. Ability to work independently and to exercise sound judgment and discretion. Demonstrated commitment to supporting the development of student athletes from varied backgrounds. Ability to work weekends and nights.

Preferred Qualifications: 

One year of head coach experience at the college level or alternatively, at the Olympic, professional or similar levels. Playing experience at the college level and full-time coaching experience at an NCAA Division I institution.
