Hunt Seat Instructor/Trainer/Assistant Coach

Job Summary

The position will be in charge of training and/or retraining horses owned by the university used for the Equestrian Program while teaching riding classes.

Duties

• Helping in the daily care of the horses such as handling them to vet and administering of medications
• Helping to develop Equestrian program
• Clearly communicating and directing with the concerns of the student workers
• Other related tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Can drive a truck and horse trailer
• Basic equine health/first aid/care knowledge
• Independent and can work long/irregular hours
