Senior Athletic Trainer

Job Summary

The position of Senior Athletic Trainer aids in the formulation and execution of an injury prevention program, provides first aid and emergency medical treatment to athletes, and treats and rehabs athletes in line with authorized medical directives.

The department is highly interested in applicants who possess a Master's degree, licensed to practice in the State of Tennessee, and have experience at the NCAA D1 intercollegiate level.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3 years of appropriate experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Possess and maintain good standing with the Board of Certification.
  
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of NATA best practices.
  
• Ability to assess the medical/rehabilitation needs of student-athletes.
  
• Strong organizational skills.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
