Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Summary

The assistant athletic trainer will assist the athletic training staff in providing a safe and healthy environment for our student-athletes. The successful candidate will assist in providing emergency care, initial treatment, follow-up care, rehabilitation, and a successful return to competition.

Qualifications

A master’s degree is preferred, along with 2-5 years’ experience as an NATABOC, Certified Athletic Trainer.

Must be Board of Certification (BOC) certified and licensed or eligible to hold a license.

Instructor rating in CPR and First Aid would be beneficial.

Have a good communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues and community members.

Organize experiences in health-related issues that would benefit our student-athletes, coaches and summer campers.
