Group Exercise Instructor

Job Summary

The Group Exercise program is designed to encourage participants to increase their physical activity and develop healthy habits in their daily lives. All group exercise instructors are expected to deliver safe and effective classes to participants of all skill levels. The Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness and the Coordinator of Fitness & Wellness will supervise this position.

Job Description:

1. Build safe, effective, and engaging group exercise class plans for participants at all fitness levels
2. Connect with participants to build rapport and be their accountability partner
3. Provide modifications and progressions for exercises to reach all fitness levels
4. Check-in all participants using the Fusion software system prior to the start of every group exercise class
5. Report attendance after every group exercise class in Group Ex Pro software
