Job Summary
Participates in the evaluation and treatment of sports medicine patients. Fits athletes for braces, applies splints or casts, applies traction splints and assists in managing rehabilitation programs. Develops and conducts presentations related to sports medicine topics. May assist in providing sports medicine coverage at various events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An undergraduate degree in athletic training from an accredited university.
Completion of a master's degree in education with a concentration in physical education, health promotion or other related specialty.
Certification from the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
