Regional Sales Associate
Job Summary
The Musco Sales Associate position is a great opportunity to launch your sales career in a fun, fast-paced, sports environment. Responsibilities will include prospecting new projects and customers as well as meeting with repeat customers and contractors who have lighting projects outside of the 12-month window. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and self-discipline to work independently and achieve results.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Qualify long-range projects via face to face customer meetings
- Perform cold calling to selected schools and municipalities
- Effectively present and differentiate Musco's products and services to customers with projects timed to order exceeding 12 months
- Conduct field market research examining the potential sales of new products and services
- Provide support to Sales Management to achieve short and long term strategic goals
- Attend tradeshows and conferences
- Generate market information relevant to assigned territory
- Perform both existing and new Musco system light level tests
Education & Experience Requirements:
- College degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship or related field
- Prior internship or related experience preferred; recent college graduates will be considered

- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage workload as it relates to customer visits, project deadlines and internal communications
- Work collaboratively with Musco’s internal Project Planning Team and external Field Sales Team to support customers
- Strong technical aptitude, ability to understand and present Musco products and services
- Minimum 50% travel required, primarily Monday through Friday
- Must be willing to relocate outside of Iowa in the future
