Job Summary
The Sports Nutritionist (RDN) will serve as the athletic department's main nutritional resource for individual student-athletes, teams, coaches, and support staff. This position will work collaboratively with the Sports Performance staff, Sports Medicine staff, and Health and Wellness staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in dietetics/nutrition or related field, Master's degree preferred.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, specifically regarding supplements.
3+ years' relevant experience (or combination of education and experience), preferably at the NCAA Division I level.
Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, CSSD preferred.
Experience in managing a yearly nutritional budget preferred.
Registered Dietitian (RD) and ability to obtain Illinois state license.
