Sports Program Coordinator

Job Summary

The Sports Program Coordinator is responsible for providing direction and oversight to all intramural sports programs and sports clubs. The coordinator provides training and supervision to student employees in officiating and sports management and supports programs within the department of Campus Activities & Recreation and the Division of Student Affairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management, recreation administration, physical education or related field by hire date .
• Knowledge of comprehensive intramural programs include development, administration, scheduling and evaluation.
• Knowledge of how to officiate and teach at least two athletic sports.
• Familiarity with inspection of various indoor and outdoor sport and recreation facilities identifying risk management concerns.
