Summer Academy Lead Classroom Teacher

Job Summary

The Lead Classroom Teacher Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing daily logistics, leading classroom time activities, developing thorough and creative alternative instructional plans to prevent summer slide, other activities related to academics, baseball/softball, Team Time, and other activities, as requested.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience in youth-based sports or academic activities; College degree preferred
2. 1+ years of relevant youth development experience
3. Ability to manage the classroom setting and design and lead assignments and lessons in STEM
4. Commitment to achieving the articulated objectives of the Academy for scholar-athletes, staff, and the community at-large
5. Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
