ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY»

We are recruiting to fill the 2021 Baseball Season Systems Operator role within our expanding team in the US. This 9 month opportunity is based at our regional headquarters in Atlanta and will include on-site work at sports stadia around the US.

With new contracts to provide services to the MLB (as well as MLS, NASCAR, USTA, NHL and NFL), the role will encompass installation and operation of the technology at a variety of games and events.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology in top-flight sports leagues as part of a young and dynamic team. We will equip you with the technical training, support and full exposure to our systems to perform your day to day tasks but also to encourage development and progression to help make an impact on what we do.

This will involve:

  • Installation of new baseball tracking systems across MLB and MiLB stadia
  • Setting up the tracking and video review systems
  • Conducting pre-game checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures
  • Operating the technologies during the game remotely from Atlanta
  • Liaising with MLB and MLB Teams personnel both on-site and remotely
  • Building and maintaining our hardware and equipment
  • Research and development into new projects and new systems

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU»

  • Associates Degree with a strong technical grounding, ideally a science, technology, mathematics or engineering course or relevant equivalent experience
  • Bright and enterprising with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environment
  • Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner
  • Ideally, an interest in sport and/or sport analysis
  • Full valid driving licence required
