Job Summary
The position's responsibilities are to select, train, manage, motivate, and evaluate maintenance staff; provide or coordinate staff training. Work with employees to correct deficiencies, implement discipline and termination procedures. Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for facility maintenance and operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or an accredited college/university with major coursework in facility management or related fields is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility operations management, preferably with a sports facility, convention center or other multipurpose public assembly facility
Specialized training in HVAC, plumbing, boiler equipment, lighting systems, chilled water systems, electrical, and other building systems maintenance
Familiarity with OSHA requirements, NFPA, NEC, and Florida Building Code
