Job Summary
What You'll Do
- Lead and direct all Club operations, including revenue, business operations & soccer operations.
- Develop and implement business plans for sustainable growth.
- Implement, grow, and foster a sales-driven, entrepreneurial, hard-working culture.
- Develop and lead the execution of external marketing, sponsorship, ticket sales, public relations, and fan engagement plans. Hire a sports-experienced, highly driven management team and other personnel with the vision of building a first-class organization.
- Oversee and provide strategic direction for day-to-day operations, including monitoring and forecasting revenue and expenses.
- Direct the implementation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.
- Ensure sound services and working relationships with important customers and industry leaders, and with outside services as needed in the general operations of the organization.
- Represent the Club at a multitude of community events as the “face” of the Club.
What We're Looking For
- Entrepreneurial, highly driven leader with deep professional sports/soccer sales experience.
- Experience in a startup soccer club and building out a soccer movement in a community, strong relationship skills a must.
- Experience leading sponsorship and ticket sales/revenue.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of professional sports business.
- Ability to work as business needs require, which at times may include long days, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Other Key Requirements
- Experienced Executive with 15+ years of professional business development and administration experience.
- Major League Soccer experience preferred
