Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletics Trainer

Job Summary

The position will be helping the university efforts to be sustainable academic organization committed to excellence.

Duties:

• Providing and managing of athletic training services for the university
• Serving as main contact for Vivature third party reimbursement system
• Serving as insurance coordinator
• Coordinating and scheduling of yearly pre-participation physical examination
• Updating of Emergency Action Plan and Concussion Management Plan
• Overseeing the inventory and tracking of all athletic supplies and equipment
• Other related tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• NATABOC certification
• Eligible for Alabama State Licensure
• Two years of collegiate athletic training setting
• Current AHA or ARC
• Insurance coordinator experience
