Job Summary

Responsibilties of the Head Coach:

• Promotes a Christian Gaming community where students use their abilities to glorify God
• Promotes the mission of the institution to all faculty, staff, students and community at large
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to meet various reporting deadlines throughout the year
• Administer and direct all aspects of the program
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to all applicable NCAA, conference, department and college regulations that relate to recruiting, daily program management, operation of the individual sport and general success of the program
• Recruit quality student-athletes by means of personal contact and correspondence, determining fit for the College Christian culture,evaluating ability in person or by videotape, and on-campus visits

• Work closely with Admissions office and Financial Aid in recruiting process
• Develop an annual line-item budget and closely monitor the allocation and expenditures of funds to maintain a balanced budget
• Oversee home event management
• Monitor and promote student-athlete academic progress and success
• Administer and coordinate all equipment and uniform purchases within budgetary limitations
• Ensure that all financial requests are handled according to department and college policy
• Plan and implement procedure for home contests 
• Maintain a complete inventory of all equipment and uniforms pertaining to the sport
