Job Summary

 

 

The assistant athletic trainer performs a full range of athletic training functions, including planning, organizing, and delivering daily services to students involved in athletics. They are responsible for the prevention, recognition, and assessment of athletic injuries.

Consult with the head athletic trainer or ATC II on treatment plans.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree preferred.
  2. General knowledge of the principles and practices of athletic training including conditioning, injury prevention, injury assessment and rehabilitation.
  3. Possess and maintain Board of Certification (BOC) certification for Athletic Trainer.
  4. Valid California driver's license.
  5. Must have current First Aid, CPR-PR, and AED certifications.
