Job Summary

SUMMARY:Partner with key stakeholders on both the IT and functional sides of the business to own business operations for the systems that support to UA’s Product Creation process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude but are not limited to the following:

  • SME and support for any current IT systems that support the Product Creation process
  • Gather/facilitate building of tool requirements for future tools or for enhancements of current tools that support the Product Creation process
  • Be the bridge between the functional teams and the IT/Master Data teams for any IT system that supports the Product Creation process
  • Serve as the first line of support for any questions/issues from the business pertaining to these systems
  • Ensure functional teams are utilizing Product Systems to their fullest extent through the Product Creation process
  • Support the implementation of any new IT systems that support the Product Creation process
  • Partner with leadership to own the roadmap of new functionality of current tools and plans for new tools to fill existing gaps
  • Ensure data is being uploaded into these tools in the correct fashion, assess where gaps may lie and develop plans to remedy
  • Ensure outputs from systems/tools are correct
  • Ensure leadership expectations of Product Systems and tools are executed
  • Provide Product Systems evaluations and assessments of results during and after Product seasons
  • Report and escalate system/tool issues to management as needed
  • Partner in change management activities and communication plans throughout tool or system changes
  • Facilitate training of internal resources at both the Baltimore and Portland offices
  • Facilitate training of external resources located at UA’s factory partners in Asia
  • Maintain process related documentation for Product Systems
  • Drive cross-enterprise alignment and influence individuals at all levels of the organization

ATTRIBUTES OF IDEAL CANDIDATE:include but are not limited to the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years’ work experience in a high-growth dynamic operating environment
  • Experience with IT systems and system implementation
  • Experience working with both IT and non-IT business units
  • Experience working with resources around the globe
  • Experience in the Footwear/Apparel industry
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to clearly communicate thoughts appropriately to key stakeholders/clients
  • Ability to travel (domestic and international) - approximately 10%
