Job Summary
Purpose: This position ensures that we maintain adequate supply levels which will support the Sales Plan for Reebok US. They are responsible for analysing and executing inventory buys for their assigned product range and stock categories. They work closely with Customer Service, Demand Planning, Logistics and Global Planning to achieve on time delivery of both warehouse and direct ship orders for their product categories and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Completion of bi-monthly buy placement process, adhering to calendar timelines, customer delivery requirements, and department supply strategy
Manage the supply for future demand and also optimize inventory levels that support at-once targets, replenishment needs, and any unique customer requirements
Leads cross functional monthly key account meetings/calls to identify and resolve any potential delivery issues
Maintain all latest product updates and market needs for the business units under their responsibily
Manage individual stock segments to ensure the necessary levels of inventory to meet sales targets and maximize visibility for business partners
Key Relationships: Demand Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Distribution, Merchandising, Planning, US Operations, Retail and Ecom teams
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Highly motivated, organized individual who is a fast learner
Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret data
Creative problem solving skills
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required
System knowledge: SAP, GPS, MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint) MicroStrategy Reporting, GTS, WFM
Ability to collaborate cross functionally and within a team
Must be able to adhere to timelines and meet deadlines
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Four year degree from college or university required with emphasis in supply chain management, logistics, or finance preferred.
3-5 years related progressive work experience and/or training
Strong financial and operational experience required
Exceptional PC Skills, including SAP and MS Office
Must be able to adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
