Graduate Assistant for Athletics Academic Services

Job Summary

A graduate assistant is responsible for knowing and applying both university and NCAA rules and regulations. Monitor student-athlete clients' academic progress through the Student Success Collaborative. Evaluate progress and put any academic skill remediation into action. Assist in the planning, activation, and execution of student athlete life skills programming.

Required Qualifications:

• Be admitted to our University graduate degree program.
• Able to commit to working for at least a 1 - 2 year commitment.
• Readiness to help with a variety of programs and tasks.
• Well organized, selfstarter, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable in diverse settings and diverse communities.Willingness to collaborate with staff and other GAs and interns.
