I’m 51 years old and have been around sports all my life, especially hockey. I started watching hockey when I was around 10 years old. I never learned how to play hockey. I started attending my friend’s practices and watching games from the age of 10-17 yrs. old. I still follow local teams and currently serve as equipment manager for my son’ team.

As equipment manager I check all players gear to make sure everything is good before going on the ice. General duties include making sure helmets and gear is in good condition, check laces and most importantly that skates are all sharpened. What ever the guys need I am there to assist.
