I have grown up playing and loving sports, with a long family history of athletes. Because of this, I have passionately pursued my own career in sports in hopes of one day being a reporter for the NFL, MLB, NBA. I now work for Wisconsin Badgers football as a video manager and have enjoyed working hard becoming more familiar with sports journalism.

This is a job I genuinely feel fulfilled in. I have made a commitment to being there for the team, whether that be in practice, games, camps, and more. I am responsible for shooting play-by-play football to be used for coaching film and love it. This requires both early morning and night work, staying on my toes, traveling with the team, etc.

I have gotten the privilege to learn a lot about sports and general journalism through taking classes such as Intro to Sports Communication, Sports Reporting and Writing, and more. I have genuinely enjoyed the topics and assignments discussed in class, and am very excited to apply what I’ve learned to my future and goals.
