Connor Volpe

This is a summer internship project working with the Boise State Compliance department and their agent database updated in accordance with current Idaho and NCAA law.

This was an internship with Morehead while I was also taking classes. I was in charge of running high school transcripts for official visits. I was wanting to gain experience before going to my internship for my undergrad degree.

I was a league supervisor at the YMCA running event operations and set up for basketball and soccer. I was also in charge of refereeing basketball games as well. I had to do basic first aid and concussion protocol if any athlete was injured.

As a machine operator I was responsible for making cycle times for the machine presses. Machine presses are on many different cycle times and I would have to adapt the different cycle times depending on the machine. Lastly, sometimes I would have to clean the machines areas to be free of debris.

As a member of the event operations team we were put in charge of marketing the event to get sponsorships, managing the participants on the course and with their lunches/dinners. We also had to sell the event to the participants with our different level sponsors or just a team entry. We ended up acquiring 2 event sponsors ($1,000) sponsorships.

As the videographer I was in charge of videoing the Scott County basketball games while it was being commentated. I experienced videoing multiple games in a day during the Toyota Classic (a basketball tournament hosted by Scott County High School).
