Eighteen years combined experience in coaching football on the varsity and middle school levels. On the varsity level, I coached the DL & OL. While on the middle school level, I have also coached the DL & OL, but where I am currently, I am the defensive coordinator, and coaching LBs. As middle school coaches, we also help the varsity team.

Defensive Coordinator
Aug 2017 - Present
As Defensive Coordinator, I am in charge of preparing the defense for each game each week. I spent time watching film and drawing play cards of the opposing offense's plays. Through this, I was able to scheme what fronts, coverages and stunts to use against our opponent(s).
Defensive Line Coach

As the defensive line coach, I prepared the DL by coaching the fundamentals of DL play (tackling, base block, reach block, down block, and pass rush techniques). Also created drills for coaching those fundamentals and game-related schemes for the opponent for that week.
Offensive and Defensive Line Coach

As the OL & DL coach, I taught the fundamentals needed for both sides; everything from proper blocking and pulling techniques (offense) to tackling, defending against base blocks, reach blocks, downs blocks and pass rush techniques (defense). Also created drills for coaching those fundamentals to help prepare them for the game that week.

Presbyterian College is a school connected with the Presbyterian Church. I attended on a football scholarship from 1992 - 1996. I left school due to the birth of my son to work and provide for my family. I came back to school and finished my classes in June of 1998 to obtain my degree.

Mount DeSales is a Catholic, college preparatory school. I attended four years where I participated in various school clubs and athletics (football, basketball, and track & field).

St. Peter Claver is a Catholic middle school. While there I participated in various school clubs and activities. Also, played basketball on a team that was made by the combining St. Peter Claver and St. Joseph's Middle Schools.

Cross Keys was a Christian school connected with the Baptist church by the same name. It contained grade levels Pre-K 4 to 12th grade. I attended from 5-year Kindergarten to 5th grade before transferring to another school. The school has been closed now for about 2 decades.
