I have worked for the sports information department at Virginia Wesleyan University for three and a half years and completed two internships. My first internship was with Cooperstown Dreams Park where I was a member of the baseball operations department and apart of the baseball ambassador. The other internship was with Old Dominion University.

This was supposed to be a semester long internship, but due to the ongoing global situation both my semester and internship were ended early. During this internship, I was able to learn more of the office side of things and the infield side of things in sports information.
Baseball Operations / Baseball Ambassador
May 2018 - Aug 2018
This was a summer internship. During my time with Cooperstown Dreams Park, I was able to get a lot of infield experience. I was in charge of making sure all games in my assigned zone were played on time, guests experience was second to none, all umpires were taken care of, and doing the P.A. for the championship games at Little Majors stadium.

I was able to learn a number of different tasks during my time with Virginia Wesleyan sports information ranging from public address announcing, recording stats, creating graphics, and broadcasting.

During my time at Virginia Wesleyan, I acted as the lead writer and editor for the Marlin Chronicle. The Marlin Chronicle is a student ran newspaper on campus.
