Responsibilities

NBCUniversal, in Centennial, CO and is seeking a Supervisor, West Coast Onboarding to work within a driven and highly-motivated teamthat supports the fulfillment of media content to NBCUniversal's distribution outlets. As Supervisor, West Coast Onboarding, you will be part of a 24x7 dedicated team tasked with supporting all onboarding efforts inclusive of setting up file delivery connectivity, transcode profile configuration, client specific metadata mapping, and proper testing for inbound content providers and outbound for all clients and platforms.
The Supervisor, West Coast Onboarding is responsible for:

Oversee onboarding operations staff including handling performance reviews, employee issues, schedules, assisting with day to day operations, maintaining SOPs, training matrices and operator scorecards
Successful, timely, and reliable onboarding of all new clients and content providers
Continuous evaluation of productivity and workflow improvement opportunities across the onboarding operations and processes
Constant technical exploration of new tools and technology to improve team capabilities and offered services across the operations
Superior customer service when dealing with internal and external clients during the onboarding process
Subject Matter Expertise in transcode profiles and systems as well as industry standard metadata formats and mapping
Deep understanding and knowledge of Media Asset Management system configuration tools to drive client specific requirements and automation
Manage the creation and publication of standard operating procedures to ensure the operation achieves and exceeds its reliability goals and service level agreements
Project management tasks related to testing, roll-out, and implementation of new systems or procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 yrs experience in a leadership role in a fast paced environment requiring troubleshooting and process skills, and exhibiting an ability to effectively lead, prioritize and adapt to changing scenarios
- 2 yrs experience in a broadcast, post production or digital media prep environment
- A track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations

Desired Characteristics

- BA/BS in related field
- 1 - 3 yrs experience in a supervisory role in the broadcast/media industry
- 1 - 3 yrs experience exhibiting overall understanding and knowledge of the video post-production process, media operations, and/or digital video deliveries for broadcast
- Extensive and significant experience, understanding and knowledge of digital broadcast and fulfillment technical systems, standards and processes
- Technical experience with media asset management and workflow systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented and motivated team player
- Experience with work rules and scheduling
- Prior experience using media technology library and workflow systems
- Ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
- A team player, who is always respectful, follows rules and policy, has good communication skills, and maintains a positive attitude
