Getting a job as a waterboy is easier to attain if you have a knowledge of sports or if you have any athletic experience. Waterboys are considered part of the equipment crew and will typically receive team merchandise or even season tickets as part of their compensation. Another common entry-level job is being the team mascot. The job of a sports mascot is to represent the spirit of the team and carry the energy of the crowd. An NFL mascot’s payday typically ranges from $23,000 to $65,000 per year. Even though being a mascot isn’t the most luxurious job, it does have its perks. Most mascots receive health insurance and many other valuable benefits. They are considered part of the team, so they are compensated like part of the team.

Statistics and Player Participation QA - This position will be required to support official data of all live games as well as the post-game processing of all NFL games.

Digital Analyst - This role requires an individual who has a strong background in digital and social analytics with a good understanding of the sports league.

Creative Content Producer - This role will be responsible for producing, editing and shooting branded and sponsored content. This requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in original content production, digital and social media.

Project Coordinator - This individual will help ensure all departments are aligned to a specific project plan and will establish a path for all activities. This role requires 1-2 years of experience in project management.

Broadcast Graphics Coordinator - This role is responsible for handling day to day sports graphics. The coordinator will be capable of assigning daily projects and to execute them in a timely manner. A minimum of 3 years in Broadcast Television experience is required.

Marketing Coordinator - To obtain this position you must have a deep understanding of consumer-facing digital content and have a general understanding of ad serving technologies.
