The General Manager of this Midwest PDL team will lead the strategic planning and the day-to-day activities for the club, as well as instill a fresh vision and marketing leadership to ensure the success and growth of the company. This person is charged with achieving and maintaining growth targets through implementation of various initiatives while maintaining the company's creative and challenging culture.

Specific responsibilities:

- Direct, build and motivate the hiring and leadership of the core team of employees, while maintaining the organization's tenets and beliefs.

- Direct and execute operations to achieve budgeted profit results and other financial criteria including participation in the sales process especially with youth soccer organizations.

- Direct the implementation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad corporate goals and growth objectives.

- Develop and maintain a sound plan of corporate organization. Establish policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession. Recommend and direct changes in corporate organization as required by the development and growth of the PDL team.

- Direct the development and installation of procedures and controls, to promote communication and adequate information flow, and thereby solidify management control and direction of the enterprise.

- Develop and establish corporate operating policies and ensure their adequate execution. Appraise and evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and report these results.

- Delegate portions of activities, responsibilities, and authorities, as necessary and desirable to staff and interns. Ensure that the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

- Ensure sound services and working relationships with important customers and industry leaders, and with outside services as needed in the general operations of the company.

- Serve as a company spokesperson and lead the image development for the Midwest PDL team.
