Industrial Design Manager

Manages, tracks and executes design process for a given brand from the trend research to product inception with an emphasis on building strong, balanced assortments in a good, better and best strategy. Work with product management to ensure designs are accurate and complete. Develop new design processes to streamline work flow and development.

Leads and drive the aesthetic and functionality execution of product, including form, function, materials, color, graphics and branding. Communicate concept, final design direction and revisions to both internal and external vendors.

Introduce innovation to key design programs/styles to keep the brands fresh and relevant in the marketplace by market and consumer research and concept generation.

Manage integrity of brands by delivering appropriate point-of-difference merchandise through collaboration with design peers, brand management, graphic design, project managers, merchants and vendors in line with the brand profile.

Create and deliver effective, cohesive product presentations to “sell” concepts direction to merchants, ensuring consistent formats across brands and divisions.

Supervision, development and management of design staff

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree- Industrial Design

10+ years’ experience in industrial design. Multifaceted design experience in high profile brands.
