Job Summary

Red Zebra Broadcasting, the broadcasting arm of the Washington Redskins, is DC’s Premier Sports Marketing Company. We own and operate Redskins Radio, all our digital assets and ESPN980 and sell sports marketing programs – most often, aligning brands with the NFL and the Washington Redskins – to large and medium companies all over the Mid Atlantic.

We are searching for a Client Service, Marketing & Promotions Coordinator for our corporate office in Rockville, MD.

The ideal candidate must have the following personal traits: have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly to executives at all levels (both internally and externally). He/she will be detail oriented and able to manage various tasks and meet demanding deadlines. This is a multi functional position that overlaps sale, marketing and promotions. The successful candidate must be well organized and be able to work in a fast paced environment. The ability to work independently by taking initiative, recommending solutions and making informed decisions is a must. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

 

• Support Account Executives
• Oversee Street Team, Events and Promotions
• Prize Winner Coordination
• Promotions Meeting Coordination
• Food Drops
• Maintain Promotional Calendar
• Create Reports as needed
• Manage Vehicles
• Manage Tickets and Hospitality including Coordination of Catering
• Merchandise Maintenance
• Other Tasks as instructed by Director 

Qualifications & Requirements 
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university 
• Minimum of three years in a marketing position with a consumer brand, agency, or media/sports property
• Ability to commute to office location in Rockville 
• Reliable vehicle to attend events and occasionally work out of Redskins Headquarters in Ashburn, VA.
• Availability and willingness to work all Washington Redskins home games at FedExField and assigned events
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in developing activation marketing plans, promotions, presentations and proposals and demonstrated knowledge of general promotional concepts and marketing principles
• Ability to work non-traditional hours
• Ability to develop & maintain interpersonal and corporate relationships
• Strong organizational skills, time management and attention to detail
• Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills
• Pro-Active self-starter with the ability to work in a team setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience to appropriately work with and around confidential information
