Job Summary
DESCRIPTION
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), headquartered in Daytona Beach, FL, is currently seeking a full-time Member Services Assistant. Reporting to the Director of Operations for LPGA's Teaching & Club Professionals (T&CP), this position will oversee all administrative duties within the department. In addition, they are responsible for social media, assisting on department communications, member services and assisting with the education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Administative:
- Main contact for the department
- Process all check requests and reimbursement forms
- Coordinate and schedule all mailings
- Coordinate and order all T&CP Collateral items
- Coordinate the Annual Appointment Calendar
- Coordinate all T&CP Printed materials
Social/Communications:
- Coordinate, create and schedule social media posts
- Assist with Section Communications
- Attend 3-5 events per year to cover social media and communications role
- Coordinate Press Releases for events pre, during and post
- Assist in updating LPGA.com T&CP pages
Member Services:
- Process and oversee continuing education requirements
- Oversee and Coordinate the PGA Show logistics
- Maintain LPGA Career Center and act as the main contact for the site
- Assist with annual dues process
Education:
- Coordinate and schedule Playing Ability Test (PAT) and Satellite Retests
- Assist in putting together and shipping materials for Teacher Education Programs
- Assist in video submissions
- Assist in monitoring Applications and provide follow up
- Assist in grading written exams
- Assist in monitoring the Teaching HER Course and provide follow up
- Assist with webinars and facilitate and communicate with the registrants
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Golf knowledge preferred
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
- Familiar with HTML code a plus
- Ability to travel and work a varied schedule
- Fluency (reading/writing/speaking) in English and another language a plus (Asian language preferred, but not required)
