Job Description

What You'll Do:

STATS is looking for a Field Operations Manager to lead a team of SportVU Field Operators throughout Europe.  In this role you'll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of equipment and associated software at stadia and facilities.  In this position, you'll plan the equipment inventory and schedule personnel on site-visits and installations.

  • Plan and coordinate the use of video equipment and associated hardware and software to ensure production operates smoothly and on-schedule
  • Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  • Assist management with hiring processes and new team member training
  • Answer team member questions, help with team member problems, and oversee team member work for quality and guideline compliance
  • Communicate deadlines and sales goals to team members
  • Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations

Skills & Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Strong, analytical, communication, and planning skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines/live environment
  • People management and planning experience
  • Hands-on approach to problems and meeting customer expectations
  • A technical bent resulting in a familiarity with delivery protocols, and streaming video
  • A positive mind-set and willing to take initiative and problem-solve
  • Experience with video equipment and streaming an advantage
  • Team Leader experience in another industry is beneficial; full training will be provided
