Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Game Entertainment intern will represent the Louisville Bats organization as a member of the Pepsi Patrol and also learn the behind-the-scenes work necessary to create a professional level game presentation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with all on-field promotions and between inning games
• Assist with pre-game events (First Pitches, Baseball Buddies, National Anthem performers, etc.)
• Assist with postgame events (Entertainment Performances, Coupon Handouts, Kids Run the Bases, etc.)
• Emcee promotions as needed
• Perform as a mascot and mascot handler as needed
• Help create an exciting and engaging atmosphere at Bats home game
• Attend meetings and brainstorm ideas on how to further enhance the team's game entertainment
• Maintain and organize all team props for promotions

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree OR working toward degree
• Excellent work ethic, customer service skills, ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to work in a team setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Energetic, outgoing personality, strong verbal communication skills and the ability to speak in front of large groups of people
• Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be available to work 80-90% of all Bats home games (70)

COMPENSATION OPTIONS:
• Internship may be used to fulfill class credit requirements or completed as a paid internship for individuals not seeking class credit
• Upon completion of class credit, internship may be extended and transition to a paid internship
• Compensation paid in accordance with Kentucky State hourly minimum wage guidelines orcommensurate with experience
