Job Summary

SUMMARY:

As part of the Brand and Fan Experience department, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the design, development and execution of all email marketing campaigns and digital marketing campaigns, as needed, for numerous internal clients within the Kraft Sports & Entertainment and Gillette Stadium businesses, including the New England Patriots. The position will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects and will report to the Director of Marketing.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute email campaigns that drive revenue growth across our brands through retention, cross-sell and up-sell
  • Efficiently design a wide variety and high volume of emails (and digital assets) in Photoshop, hand-code in HTML/CSS, and execute to target groups using a sophisticated email marketing solution and other digital marketing platforms
  • Manage the creation, scheduling, and deployment of all email campaigns including copywriting and proofreading for emails
  • Develop emails and landing page layouts that are mobile responsive and user-friendly, and test renderings across multiple email clients and ISPs
  • Create messaging (emails, ad copy, newsletter copy, web copy, survey forms, etc.) and monitor website copy to support current campaigns and strategic priorities
  • Manage digital marketing calendar and member communication touch points, prioritizing campaigns based on revenue potential and overall corporate strategy, as well as resource allocation
  • Work within brand guidelines of New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium and Boston Uprising
  • Design and execute tests that support key hypotheses and deliver actionable learnings that contribute to business growth, based on data from executed emails and email marketing best practices
  • Monitor marketing mailing lists and work on ways to improve list quality and highlight opportunities to segment lists, with highly persuasive creative/offers driven by customer insight
  • Ensure persuasive CTAs and tracking mechanisms (e.g., came from codes) are included as needed
  • Analyze and communicate campaign results to develop internal and external best practices
  • Collaborate with departments across the organization to support member communication objectives
  • Consume sports and marketing content across other teams, leagues and brands
  • Special projects as business dictates

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to manually write mobile-first and responsive HTML/CSS code for effective web and email layout (2+ years professional experience)
  • Strong graphic design skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Suite (2+ years)
  • Previous experience with email marketing platforms such as Zeta, Marketo, Responsys, Exact Target
  • Development and page design experience within content management systems
  • Flexibility in working quickly and efficiently under pressure to handle shifting priorities
  • Thorough knowledge of email marketing concepts and best practices
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Strong knowledge of email and digital technologies, software and applications
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and ticket databases such as Archtics
  • Detail and results oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams consisting of technical and non-technical members
  • Work well in fast paced, team-oriented environment, with consumer-centric mindset
  • Able to take constructive criticism and change direction to suit operational needs
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
