Account Executive

Job Summary

ESPN Audio is seeking a self-starter with emphasis on New Business Development, Live Sports Sponsorship and experience in Multimedia Sales including TV, Radio, Digital and Experiential Marketing. This individual should possess a strong sales acumen and deep knowledge of Sales and Sponsorships Processes. Also, a strong team player with excellent communication skills is required. 
Responsibilities

• Develop working relationships with new clients / partners.
• Able to meet individual sales goals and objectives
• Responsible for increasing the company’s gross revenue by developing new business and growing existing business accounts with local and regional clientele by selling advertising and promotional opportunities through spot-radio campaigns, on-site promotions, and new media.
• Represent the radio station in the local and regional buying community and to conduct good business practices that benefit the client while adhering to the company’s needs and standards.
• Knowledge of sports sponsorships and sports marketing.
• Ability to discern a client’s or prospects’ business challenges as well as possess the knowledge to map out appropriate solutions

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ Years Audio, digital or TV Sales Sponsorship Experience
• Direct and Agency experience

Preferred Qualifications 

• Excellent written and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Highly organized & adaptable

Required Education 

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education 

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
