Job Summary

Strength and Conditioning Intern

Posting Summary

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Sets up and breaks down of facilities before and after training sessions.
• Cleans and maintains facility
• Oversees distribution of nutrition supplements, snacks, as well as delivery of nutritional education to student athletes.
• Assists with the supervision and instruction of both team and individual training sessions.
• Instructs and teaches the proper execution of the Olympic lifts and other exercises.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Exercise Science Kinesiology, Nutrition or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Requires up to two years relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• National Strength and Conditioning Association - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Collegiate athletic experience.
• First and C.P.R. Certified.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of basic performance nutrition guidelines and strategies.
• Knowledgeable in general / basic safety.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
