Job Summary

Job Summary: We are currently seeking an Assistant Football Coach. This incumbent will provide support to the head coach in maintaining a highly competitive and successful football program in a manner compatible with the department and campus philosophy, and in compliance with rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships within the athletic department, community, booster clubs, alumni, high school coaches, media and the general public
• Instructing and teaching student athletes in the fundamentals of football sport technique and strategy
• Assisting in monitoring the academic performance of student athletes
• Recruiting qualified student athletes
• Budget planning and management 

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree 
• Prior experience coaching
• Experience coaching on either the offensive or defensive side of the football

• Commitment to athletic excellence in an academic environment
• Experience as a student-athlete
