Job Summary

Job Summary: We are seeking a Director of Ticket Sales that will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale and renewal of season tickets and partial plans. The candidate will handle the execution of a sales plan designed to increase the Crews season ticket base. The Director will play a support role to the Vice President by managing dedicated season ticket staffs in order to achieve organizational sales and revenue goals.  Additionally, the Director is responsible for accomplishing the company’s performance expectations of the Ticket Sales & Service department based on an annually set budget.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Directing and training a qualified sales staff with the goal of increasing the season ticket base 
  • Developing and implementing short and long-term sales plans
  • Mentoring the sales staff so that activity contributes to collective department goals
  • Assisting sales staff’s efforts to close prospected business 
  • Working closely with Ticket Operations and Service staff members to provide the highest level of customer service for all season ticket members and partial plan customers
  • Administering efficient, accurate, and timely reporting mechanisms related to sales activity as well as budget pacing activity to be used by senior management
  • Creating and executing events at the Stadium, Training Camp or off-site locations to maximize season ticket & group ticket sales opportunities
  • Overseeing all season ticket & partial plan sales communications 
  • Developing proposals, collateral materials and audio/visual resources
  • Maintaining the highest levels of communication with season ticket members and group leaders via direct contact and/or through the management of on-going communications 
  • Ensuring the development of qualified staff members in order to produce a positive working environment and appropriately skilled employees
  • Achieving set personal sales goals as provided by the Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service
  • Keeping accurate records in support of sales efforts as defined by the organization
  • Forecasting business/sales results
  • Maximizing the net revenue goals as determined by senior management 
  • Securing new business both personally and through the efforts of the sales staff

Qualifications: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Marketing and ticket sales experience in the sports or entertainment industry
  • Experience with training, hiring and development
