Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new prospects for Sales Managers to pursue by researching identified prospects and creating individual bios/profiles and company one sheets in preparation for meetings
- Analyze third party research to create category and brand level data stories to better position to prospects
- Research sponsorship and marketing activities for our prospect’s top competitors and determine any critical updates that can impact the sales and/or pitch process.
- Partner with Sales Managers and Strategy Director to create customized proposals and one sheets for potential prospects that align with their needs and standards for success
- Responsible for developing, introducing, and sustaining a process to track/prove ROI and ROO throughout each partnership activation and adjust where necessary
- Provide research and analysis insights to the sales and activation team during the of full partnership cycle from prospect, contract, integration, post season recaps and on-going management
- Maintain a focus on current open inventory and research new inventory options, including valuations and competitive pricing
- Maintain CRM database with current/new leads, deal sheets and available inventory
- Assist with event activation and set-up for NFL Team events and initiatives
- Assist in administrative tasks, including taking meeting notes, arranging of internal and external meeting and set-up for meetings + presentations
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of three years of sales, research or analysis experience
- Working knowledge of partnership activation, sponsorship and sports / entertainment marketing partnerships best practices
- Proficiency in digital and social strategies for brands, especially in the sponsorship space
- Ability to convey thoughts, concepts and ideas through brainstorms, writing, proposals, meeting notes, research, presentation decks and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor, with a team-first, project-first focus
- Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping key constituents in the loop
- Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings. This includes working all home games and some road games as necessary
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) a plus
