• Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to execute day-to-day business and team related operations for Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s growing esports division. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead business operations programming, planning and execution to build visibility, revenue and marketing for esports’ properties. 
• Lead day-to-day business related functions for NBA 2K League team, District Gaming and other esports activities. Day-to-day projects may include creation of sales materials, participating in sales meetings, execution of partnership activations, development of marketing campaigns, and event planning. 
• Handle esports properties integration into larger organization and work with existing business operations staff.
• Manage P/L of esports franchises.
• Handle sponsor and community requests and obligations to promote and educate fan base and community.
• Supervise team operations matters, coordinating with business and team operation as needed. 
• Lead multiple direct reports.
• Serve as primary business contact with team leagues, coordinate business and league relationships; report and implement on league standard methodologies. 
• Assist and advise on acquisition of and ultimately assume business operations responsibility for esports teams as acquired.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in working with competitive gaming products and integrating them into a larger brand marketing strategy. 
• Gaming experience as a player, coach or team manager is helpful.
• The ability to lead, inspire and educate the next generation of professional gamers.
• Capability in dealing with a diverse group of individuals with different backgrounds and languages.
• Experience in Marketing/Advertising preferred.
• Managerial/Supervisory experience.
• Dynamic communication and networking skills.
• Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to develop and nurture strong and diverse community relationships.
• Ability to adapt to new environments, work well with teammates, and grow responsibilities over time.
