Job Summary

 

Specific Functions/Activities Summary


  • For each assigned account, serve as the primary liaison between the Account Management team and the internal stakeholders

  • Lead flawless execution and delivery of contractual assets across MSG assets

  • Build strong relationships with key client contacts to ensure strategic alignment and delivery against objectives

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to better align partner objectives with internal business strategies and deliver superior business results

  • Promote an inclusive culture and creating defined developmental paths

  • Based on clear understanding of short and long-term partner goals, continually identify ways to grow the relationship

  • Ensure proper metrics are in place and to evaluate success of partnership.

  • Lead renewal and upsell sales processes

  • Lead day-to-day responsibilities for account including status reports, weekly planning calls, budgets, CRM, among others

  • Onboarding new partners into the respective property portfolio

  • Required to work event nights based on business need

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience

  • Strong management and relationship skills

  • Demonstrated Marketing/sponsorships experience

  • Proven developer of talent

  • Track record in achieving results

  • Behavior consistent with values

  • Excellent creative and organizational techniques

  • Ability to evaluate both business building and brand building opportunities and threats

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Advanced strategic and analytical abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to convert insights into business opportunities

  • Project management: ability to keep projects on track and delegate when necessary

  • Understanding of the Company’s culture

  • Ability to establish effective interdepartmental relations

  • Ability to establish relationships with business partners including sponsors, vendors and media partners

  • Effective time management

 

Education

  • Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred. Educational requirements may differ from job to job based on the role.
