Vice President and Tournament Director

Job Summary

• Principal responsibility of this position is to direct the daily operations of a new Ladies Professional Golf Association
• Responsibilities will be to lead the day-to-day preparation and execution of the tournament, including:

1. Sponsorship sales
2. Community engagement and outreach
3. Public relations
4. Advertising and promotions
5. Operations
6. Volunteer activities
7. Tournament financials
8. Management of the Tournament staff and to serve as liaison to key tournament partners.
9. Significant golf tournament management and sales experience and be well connected in the corporate marketplace. 

• Bachelors degree plus 8+ years relevant experience in sports/sales/management.
• Quantifiable revenue generation history.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Significant golf industry knowledge.
• Ability to manage people/projects, delegate responsibility and provide follow-through on multiple projects.
• Excellent organizational, time, team-building and project management skills.
• Individual must be detail-oriented and a self-starter.
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
