Job Summary
MASCOT HANDLER OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the ‘eyes and ears’ for mascot performers
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety and well-being of each mascot performer (they are performing with limited vision and hearing)
- Ensure the mascot performer is hydrated, and receives an appropriate amount of breaks
- Ensure the mascot has a safe path of travel
- Facilitate crowd control between fans and mascot
- Interact with fans throughout games and events
- Take photos with fans
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- A charismatic, cheerful, and energetic personality
- Must be motivated and excited about interacting with fans of all ages
- Able to work well with all employees in a team environment
- Must have good time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks
- Passion for football, the CFL, the Tiger-Cats, and the Hamilton community
