Athletics Graphic Design Assistant

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Manage the development and effective delivery of creative services Brainstorm, develop and execute design work on a timely basis for recruiting, communications, marketing, sales and development.
• These include but are not limited to brochures, flyers, social media graphics, marketing materials, logos, signage, installations, promotional items, advertisements, etc.
• Lead contact for motion graphics, working closely with the Athletic Communications Video Coordinator and Technical Services in sharing and implementing graphics that can be utilized across graphic and visual platforms
• Take ownership of the creative process for each project assigned, including inter-departmental communication, problem solving and business decision-making
• Provide creative input, ideas and concepts for the overall marketing and brand development of the department.
• Ensure consistency of the Athletics brand through all visual content for internal and external audiences

Employment Term

• This position is a temporary, hourly paid position for a maximum of 25 hours per week.
• Evening, weekend and holiday hours will be required and schedule may vary.
• The position may be renewed for a second year but is limited to a maximum of two years of service.
• There are no benefits attached to this position.
