What You’ll Do We are seeking a Technician to play an integral role in upping our game in developing advanced composite products for our various sports. This is an extreme hands-on position with a heavy emphasis on kit prep, lay-ups, and the molding and finishing of prototypes as well as developing prototypes and samples using other processes. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Prepare kits using various techniques for cutting pre-preg for lay-ups used in the production of prototype samples. • Learn and be in a position to suggest modifications to the designs and/or tooling to make the product perform in the hands of the player. • Conduct rudimentary lab tests and generate reports regarding various specifications as it relates to physical dimensions, mass properties and stiffness. • Understand and communicate methods and work flow to various levels of the R&D team in the pursuit of developing world class products that all athletes will value! What We Are Looking For This role requires 5-10 years experience in an engineering environment molding or producing carbon composite parts. An Associates Degree in a Technology field is a big plus! You will need to be proficient at using various MS Office software such as Word and Excel. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read and understand written & verbal communication as it relates to the development and lay-ups for composite parts. Success will entail an eagerness to continuously learn and understand the design and manufacturing of sports equipment and what makes them perform. You must be able to work in an experimental, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects under minimal supervision; a demonstrated passion for sport and playing experience is a plus.
