Job Summary

The Athletics Department at has an opening for a part time Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach/Administrative Coordinator & Recruiter.


Responsibilities:

• The Assistant Coach/Administrative Coordinator & Recruiter supports the Head Lacrosse Coach. In that support role, the Assistant Coach/Administrative Coordinator & Recruiter is responsible for performance analysis and skill development as well as performing administrative duties and assisting with recruiting.
• This position will also help to operate a program for student-athletes, with differing abilities and skills, and serve as a role model in meeting the College complimentary goals

Qualifications:

• Requirements include a BS/BA in appropriate field and 1-year coaching experience
• Master’s degree, experience playing and coaching in college athletics, and some experience with athletics recruiting and administration preferred.

Skills and Characteristics:

• Ability to coach, teach, and train student-athletes in skills and strategies specific to their sport; demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the stages of student development and the importance of holistic education
• Ability to establish appropriate and effective mentoring relationships with student-athletes
• Ability to be a supportive team player within the Athletics Department and in the College; ability to communicate effectively
• A working knowledge of computer programs and systems; demonstrated commitment to continued learning/professional development (i.e., attend conferences, clinics, workshops)
