Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a recruiter for the Women's Lacrosse program.
• Identify, evaluate and recruit qualified prospective student-athletes; including ID clinics.
• Maintain effective communication with prospective student-athletes and Admissions Office.
• Arrange and conduct on and off campus visits with prospective student-athletes.
• Plan, execute and maintain all aspects of the programs social media sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
• Scouting of opponents and preparation of scouting reports for head coach and team members.
• Oversee and coach the student-athletes along with other Women's Lacrosse program specific duties.
• Oversee academic success and study hall for Women's Lacrosse program.
• Manage and supervise student worker(s).
• Coordinate with Head Coach fundraising events.
• Accept a collateral assignment (i.e. assist with game management, admin responsibilities, student-athlete education, etc.) within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics
• Teach physical education activity courses in accordance with assigned load during the academic year.
• Function as an active team member of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of two years of Lacrosse coaching experience and possess the ability to attract outstanding students to the University
• and have a clear understanding of the NCAA Division III philosophy and the role of physical education, recreational sports, and athletics in a private, liberal arts academic setting.
