Job Summary

Essential Duties

  • Manage event presentation, game experience and sponsorship activation for women's volleyball, women's basketball, and softball including, but not limited to, writing scripts and timelines, directing game, creating and managing videoboard content, designing elements as needed, managing game day staff, and building out a complete fan experience in-venue.
  • Oversight of a variety of non-ticketed sports including writing pa scripts, providing music and supervision of game day staff
  • Support on-field activations for all home Football games
  • Help manage auxiliary fan experiences for football, basketball and other sports as needed, that include but are not limited to Football Open House, Football Spring Game, and student events.
  • Responsible for overseeing all donation requests.
  • Implement new fan experience opportunities to positively differentiate live games from watching the event on television.
  • Work with campus partners to create engaging fan experiences at all DAPER events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Communication, Business or other related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with a self-motivated attitude.
  • Creative thinking mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite
  • Anticipates and/or responds effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a track record of cross-departmental collaboration and working well in groups.
  • Demonstrates commitment to personal responsibility and value for safety; communicates safety concerns; uses and promotes safe behaviors based on training and lessons learned.
  • Subject to and expected to comply with all applicable University policies and procedures, including but not limited to the personnel policies and other policies found in the University's Administrative Guide.
