Account Executive, Premium Sales

Job Summary

Essential Functions:

• Meet or exceed established yearly revenue and ticket goals set for new business (Season Tickets, Premium Season Tickets, and Premium Group Packages)
• Perform a high volume of proactive, outbound calls to generate appointments
• Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by partner organization.
• Conduct sales conversations via phone presentations, in-office meetings/sales center presentations and stadium meetings
• Perform accurate and skilled business-to-business meetings to consultatively close new business sales
• Entertain and nurture relationships with clients and prospects through creative means including (but not limited to) networking events, speaking engagements, prospect sampling at games, seat visits at games, open houses at stadium, and outside meetings
• Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM to guide the sales process and aid in reporting and data-driven decision making

 
Qualifications:

• College degree required; preferably in business or sports management.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of successful sales experience in sports, media, and/or direct sales is preferred
• Strong ability to quickly and effectively establish rapport and build new relationships
• Willingness to learn, receive coaching and be competitive
• Highly developed professional attitude, appearance and inter-personal skills
• A solutions-based, consultative approach to solving problems
• Ability to confidently deliver information, analysis and recommendations to senior business leaders (both internally and externally)
• Strong individual organization, time-management and communication skills
• Passion for the sports industry, with a strong desire to build a career in sports business
